Another reply to band bashing

This is Jill again, the one who wrote the original post that started

the band bashing posts with Kendra. To make something perfectly

clear, my intent of that post was not to make people think that I did

not like hearing everyone's experiences. The whole message was in a

response to the people on the CT discussion board who were going off

on Jess for talking about the STAR band. I did not feel that she

deserved all of the negative comments since she is only doing what

she thinks is best for her child. You guys don't have to keep

saying " well said Kendra " . I totally agree with what she said also.

As I said in the first place, I'm new here and I was just trying to

send a message for everyone to be SUPPORTIVE instead of

ARGUMENTATIVE. From now on I will keep my opinions to myself and

just come here for SUPPORT and questions. Hopefully, everyone can

understand that I was only tring to send a message of peace not war.

I also have to agree with Jill - Jess was treated badly on the

cranial technology board. I wish we would just understand that when

it comes to the bands and helmets, just because one of us had a good

experience one place doesn't mean everyone else would, and the same

applies to bad experiences. This seems especially true with the

starband, since in one place you could have a very knowledgable

orthotist and in others you could have someone who has no idea what

she is doing.

It's sad to me when people come on here for support and get bashed

because of old, old arguments they didn't even realize were being had.

I don't think all the replies are aimed at you (at least I don't think!). I'm hoping that it's just everyone's way of saying "OK, let's move on"??? I hope that this will be the end of this, at least for a while. I know that as members come and go, it will likely come up again, but for now, I think it's been discussed enough. Your opinions are always welcome here. Keep up the SUPPORTIVE, non-argumentative replies! EVERYONE!! ) ) )
