Guest guest Posted September 14, 2007 Report Share Posted September 14, 2007 We had a meeting today about Bam's troubling behaviors - hitting, running away - and they're going to do a functional behavioral analysis. I sure hope it will turn out to be actually useful. We also talked about ways to avoid the situations that set him off and encouraging him to learn how to ask/signal when he's getting overwhelmed and needs a break. Aside from this one issue, he seems to be doing really well in school and is even playing with some of the other kids, which is great to hear since that was our main reason for sending him.
