Guest guest
Is it the one for parents and professionals? That was the first book I bought dealing with Asperger's. It's a good one!! MISSY SAHM to some special kids!!! I am who I am because that's who I am --, 5, Aspergers All kids are gifted; some just open their packages earlier than others. -- Carr Tony Atwood > > My Dr for my son recommended I read this book > " asperger syndrome " by the author Tony Atwood > I picked it up today > wondering if anyone else here has read it! > > Dawn Michele in NJ > > > > >

Guest guest
One book I have read and found to be ver helpful was "Asperger Syndrome and Adolescence" The practical solutions for school success, By Myles and Diane Adreon. The book won outstanding literary work of the year 200 for the Autism society of America. That helped alot too, seeing that my son started junior high this past fall. They explain so many things, I would never think of. Check it out. designs <scottdesigns@...> wrote: Another good one is the OASIS web site which is Tony Attwood as well. www.udel.edu/bkirby/asperger Tony Atwood My Dr for my son recommended I read this book"asperger syndrome" by the author Tony AtwoodI picked it up todaywondering if anyone else here has read it!Dawn Michele in NJ

Guest guest
Yes, he is great. I used to go to every conference I could find when we first go diagnosis. Atwood really knows his stuff. His books are well worth the price. > > Has anyone ever heard him speak? Guest guest
That's good to hear. He'll be speaking locally as well in October and I've signed up to go see him. I'm excited.
