Is it the one for parents and professionals? That was the first book I

bought dealing with Asperger's. It's a good one!!

I have read that one and several of his books, I own quite a few of them. They are all very goods reads. I learned quite a bit from reading his books. I found them to be very helpful. Dawn Michele Yuro <dawnyuro@...> wrote:

One book I have read and found to be ver helpful was "Asperger Syndrome and Adolescence" The practical solutions for school success, By Myles and Diane Adreon. The book won outstanding literary work of the year 200 for the Autism society of America. That helped alot too, seeing that my son started junior high this past fall. They explain so many things, I would never think of. Check it out. designs <scottdesigns@...> wrote:

Another good one is the OASIS web site which is Tony Attwood as well.

Yes, I've heard him speak. He's a knowledgeable and engaging speaker. If you have a chance to go, do it!LizOn Sep 13, 2007, at 9:32 AM, Elgamal wrote:Has anyone ever heard him speak?  He is going to be near me in October and I am thinking about going.

Yes, he is great. I used to go to every conference I could find when

we first go diagnosis. Atwood really knows his stuff. His books are

well worth the price.

That's good to hear. He'll be speaking locally as well in October and I've signed up to go see him. I'm excited. :)

I have heard him speak as well. He is very entertaining and knows his stuff. Worth the effort to go see him/hear him.
