I would like to ask ya'll to please trim your posts. I am on digest but have not been able to keep up (even on digest) because to scroll thru all the messages that are left on each email takes forever. Below is an example. (There were 25 emails in the digest. 90% have additional posts attached.) The first one is the new message and if you will look.....there are 8 previous posts that were left on as the conversation went back and forth.

I am so overwhelmed by everything (as YOU are) that I can't even get support from this group b/c I don't have 30min. to scroll thru all the repeated messages. I don't dare posts b/c if someone replies I prob. wouldn't even see it.

Of course you could just think ill of me for asking this and just keep right on leaving all the posts connected to your emails. I just want you to consider triming.

Thanks.

Hi You can make provisions in your will for your pet bird because they can live a very long time. A nice bird to start with is a Quaker, unless they are banned in your state. I have a Cockatiel and a Love bird ( rescued ) and a Quaker. My Quaker is still very young, not a year yet but he is just a wonderful pet.Green cheeked Conures are lovely too. The most important thing for anyone buying a pet bird is to go to a breeder who hand feeds them and abundance weans them.A Cockatoo needs an experienced pet bird owner in my humble opinion :-) but there are the smaller parrots , many more than I just mentioned , lots to choose from and you would still have plenty of time for your puglets :-)A funny Cockatoo story, true story...Magic belongs to a friend of mine who also has pet dogs......Magic will get my friend's Standard Poodle barking ( my friend didn't realize this at first ) and so my friend would go and get her Poodle and take him to his crate and then one day as she was taking Poet to his crate, she heard Magic the Too , laughing and saying " TO YOUR CRATE, TO YOUR CRATE" !!!!!!!! LOL LOL LOL Pet Birds can be such great fun !!!!!hugsbrendaWags! Wags! Wags! Lowry"There is no psychiatrist in the world like a puppy licking your face."Author Ben

Maybe someday...

( ) Hello everone I am new to the group• I just wanted to start by saying this is great. My son was just diagnosed with Aspergers/NLD (non verbal learning disability). He is 12 years old and I have been fighting to find a reason for the way my son was. Everyone said kids are quirky and that he would grow out of it, but he has never had a friend and I couldn't see him hurt anymore so we finally went outside of the pediatrician and got a diagnoses why he is the way he is which I find great. He is a loving and very smart kid but when he turns 18 will he still want his mom to be his only friend. Well he is a great kid and sometimes talks to much (which I thought was normal) until he wouldn't stop even when people would walk away. He wouldn't even notice that they had gone. He has a very large vocabulary and loves comic books and drawing he is smaller then most kids his age and he doesn't have the muscle mass most kids should have. All in all I was hoping to maybe find some people that go through the same things as we do.Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Search.
