Guest guest
Thanx you e!!! ) Kendra in Canadawww.plagiocephaly.org/support... ----- Original Message ----- From: e Meisner Plagiocephaly Sent: Friday, March 02, 2001 6:28 AM Subject: & Debbie Yikes! Time-out! Please allow me to politely step and mediate between & Debbie. First, let me please say - DON'T UNSUBSCRIBE - either of you. This group is all about SUPPORT and I know that both of you are GREAT momma's just trying to do the best thing for your little ones. Way to go! Also, I know in the past the debate has become heated between use of different devices. (I'm another one that can speak pretty unbiased as is in a locally made helmet rather than a STAR or DOC). I believe the bottom line is we are ALL trying to do what is best for our children and it IS personal. As I mentioned yesterday, this group is my salvation because it serves as an AWESOME forum to share feelings. And sharing feelings brings out the PASSION in a person - think about it, we're all speaking with strangers (kinda) about the most valued little things in our lives, our children - if that doesn't spark passion, nothing will! For example, I know that I've felt pretty strongly in one direction on a subject and after reading another person's passionate point of view and stepping into their shoes for a moment, I been given a new perspective. What a wonderful learning experience! I guess what I'm saying is that passion is GOOD as long as it remains constructive. Remember, it's much more difficult to communicate effectively with a keyboard, screen and Internet connection as compared to sitting face-to-face. Let's try not to play he-said, she-said. I'm sure if I went back and read my posts when I first joined in November, I'd be surprised by how much my view-points have changed, primarily through my getting to know all of you. I'm sure we are ALL going to be BETTER parents having gone through this with our children AND a wonderful support group filled with diverse perspectives and experiences. Really, what a blessing!BTW, Happy Belated Birthday Abby! Hope you LOVED your cake! ;-)Here's to sharing our PASSION and KEEPING our members!e 4/00 (banded 12/00)Gaylord, Michigan
