Guest guest Posted March 3, 2001 Report Share Posted March 3, 2001 Hello everyone! Just wanted to share our news, too. Chandler finished with her band on Monday!! I am finally at peace with her ears (although they are still 'off' a little bit) and her head shape--now maybe I can quit obsessing!! Amazingly, she has only banged her head a few times, and it is funny to watch her feel her head and shake it so her hair moves! Now she gets food in her hair when she eats--something that didn't happen with the band. I am so appreciative of the people at CT here in Dallas--they have been wonderful to work with and have been a great support during these last four months. I will stay with this board as I want to keep up with the rest of you, as well as offer my support. It has been great to know that there are others dealing with the same things I have been! It's funny, someone recently mentioned in a post about being a little teary when their child first gets their band. . .I was then, and I was when we were " done " the other day--definitely tears of joy, but I think tears of relief--and in knowing we made the right decision to band Chandler.
