my son will be starting preschool on 9/4. he will have the same teacher

he had over the summer. she seems nice, but a little on the

condescending side-you know, she's the teacher so she's the expert. any

advice on making sure he gets what he needs? his biggest defecit is the

social one-relating to his peers, playing with others. Academically, he

is working on a first grade level but he's not getting that in class.

My other concern is he is very high functioning, and it seems his

behaviors deteriorate when he's in school. Oh and the other thing is

she is best friends with his former foster mom, and I know that they

talk...

How do I get my concerns across to the teacher without sounding like a

psycho mom?
