Guest guest
- I must say to I am with you on a horrible job that STAR Band ended up being. No way was that a professional good job! I've also had the STAR and DOC. Started with the DOC and now finishing up on the STAR. My DOC I never felt was made accurately but with my STAR it came in great and all eyes and ears were cut, just some fine tuning! I two have posted both in our file! The orthotics person makes all the world of difference. Tammy & 12/8/
Guest guest
Hi ! I can't believe your orthotist did that to your STAR Band!! That looks terrible. I'm glad you put your foot down and switched from them. I would totally go off on our orthotist if they tried that on Bryce's STAR Band! Anyway, good luck with the DOC. Guest guest
: Holy cow, what a terrible terrible STARband that was! I thought Abby's was bad (which it was) but your poor thing! It was smooshing his ear too - and what was the deal with those side burns? My gosh, I am so glad you got the DOC - not even comparible is it? Good luck! Whenever my scanner gets fixed I'll be creating a file of Abby too, with both band pics.. I'm glad you're feeling better today! Guest guest
, Thank you for posting those pictures. I had the very same problem. The Orthotist got our first Starband and it was in the " Raw " state (nothing was precut- it was like a cylinder). The reason it came that way was, a not so good head mold. He did a very bad job cutting the band and it was horrible. The band did not stay on at all and he added foam simular to what your Orthotist did. I said, " this is totally not right " and he recasted Reaghan and ordered a new band. This cast was very good (to his credit) and the new band came cut and fit excellently. We switched Orthotist anyway. She has been in her second Starband since 2/12 and we are finally seeing results. The differences between the 2 bands, from the same company, were like night and day. All because of the Orthotist. Maybe I will also post pictures of the two bands that we had. Thanks again and good luck with your new band!
