Friday we went for an adjustment,Sat Abigail woke up with a red swollen welt (on back right side behind her ear right where band ends). Took her to orthotist monday still large red welt.Orthotist tells me she doesn't think that the red welt is from the band.????? What??? Well she woke up with it after getting her band adjusted in that area not even 24 hrs before.Needless to say I am a bit upset.The red welt is getting better, However I have left the band off since Sat.She is only 6 months old she can't tell me yet if it is hurting her.We have pedatrician appointment Friday for 6month check so I will have him check this out.I'm completley baffled by what else it could have been caused by? Anyone else ever have a mysterious welt that stays for days?? It is not the usual redness when an adjustment is needed. This is still red & swollen, 3 days later.Any help would be appreciated.I almost wonder if somthing got in her band and bite her or something??
