Guest guest
Just wanted you guys to know that there is progress being made with the pediatricians. My ped (older guy) is definitely against the band. Last year his son and daughter in law joined his practise - right out of their residency or internship (whatever). When Young Dr. noticed the torticolis he referred us to an ortho but said nothing could be done about the plagio. I sent him a letter with copies of articles etc and he wrote the scrip for the band. He definitely supports this whole process and when I saw him last week I had the headsicle with me and he noticed great improvement with the band. He has even recommended the band to 2 other patients (but they declined). I told him to give those parents my name and number if they want to call me(again they declined). It is nice to have young dr. support. Kind of an odd situation - the older ped is aginst but his son and daughter in law are both for it. One thing is that maybe the son and daughter in law are young and afraid of making mistakes and not so set in their ways. Hoping to change things one ped at a time.
