Guest guest
Tami, It sounds like you and I are in the same situation. My 5yr old daughter was a breeze also. Vince will be 18mos in a few days and he is already giving me gray hairs! Maybe you and I can give each other pointers as we go along and keep track of our progress. Guest guest
Tami, Sierra wears a size five too!!! I wonder if diaper companies have taken in consideration that mommies are healthier these days, so babies are to! Given our children's ages, it sounds like a match could be made in heaven!! I'm attaching a photo of and Sierra, tell me what you think!! Hee hee! It will be hard to let them go, but I'm sure they will be in good hands!! They could whisper Sweet Suessing's in each others ears! Boy, Do I crack myself up!!!!~ Only one Boo-Boo today! Wow, what a champ!! Am I a proud Mama or What? Guest guest
He's been in size 5 diapers for about 6 months now...at 17 months old.. Hanna's been in size 5 for hmmmm, 3-4 months. She's only 16 months now! They still fit pretty good, so hopefully size 6 wont be for a while! The Pull-Ups just didn't give her the wet feel so she never associated the sensation of having to go with getting wet Do you guys have Kooshies there? They're a bit pricey, but they have some really nice training pants that are cloth on the inside, and a soft leak-proof material on the outside, with Velcro closures. Very nice! I will be making the investment when the time comes. That way they can feel the wetness, which I think is very important in training! Good luck to everyone! Can't wait for our turn! :o0 Kendra in CanadaFor more plagio info, visitwww.plagiocephaly.org/support... ----- Original Message ----- From: twarner@... Plagiocephaly Sent: Wednesday, March 07, 2001 8:35 AM Subject: Re: Not Plagio Related/ Potty Training/Thanks!! Thanks everybody for the info on this thread and any info forthcoming! I am anxiously waiting for the day when I can begin potty-training ...He's been in size 5 diapers for about 6 months now...at 17 months old...and they are so expensive! And soon we will be into size 6, I think!I never knew about Piddles and the cheerios/fruit loops and ping-ping ball ideas are great! I did see dissappearing Stickers for the bowl of the potty chair, but passed on that one...no fun for (and kinda gross to keep putting in there and peeling them off....)I had a breeze potty training at 28 months, but she has always been a blessing, such an easy child. When she felt that wetness, she would just freeze and scream...she hated the sensation and got the message quickly. The Pull-Ups just didn't give her the wet feel so she never associated the sensation of having to go with getting wet if she didn't go to the potty. When I switched to the cloth and vinyl, it only took a few days. We only used the pull-ups overnight or when we were out & about! One thing I kept in the diaper bag for awhile was the Graco fold-up potty seat - it helped a lot when we were out and had to use a public restroom. I think I've read that boys are more difficult and usually train older than girls (general observation, I think). so far has been much more of a challenge in every area...I doubt potty training will be any different. Thanks for the encouragement, tips and sharing the laughs as well. Tami 9/99 7/97Tulsa, OK
