Guest guest
Hi I'm new to the group I am the mom of a three year old little boy who has asperger's, Sensory Integration Disorder, ADHD, and Mastocyctosis. We recently found out about the first three and when Nickolas was about two we found out that he had mastocyctosis. We see OT once a week for the sensory issues but this whole thing has been extremly overwhelming for all of us. We were wondering if anyone else's little one was a danger to themselves, my son though sweet as he is can not be left alone by himself because he is walking into things getting knives jumping off of the fridge for example, we got rid of my six year old's bunk beds becasue Nickolas would jump off of there. Our house is only 2500 SQFT and we are in the process of trying to fight to get out of our lease and in to a much smaller house 1400 or less so it will be easier to live with him and we can see accross the house easier. Is this normal? Our pschologist says yes but it doesn't feel like it would be. Any advice would be appreciated thanks!
