Guest guest
Hello, I'm new to this group, but have been lurking and learning. My son is four and was recently diagnosed with ASD in March. He's had a lot of trouble with bowel training, and simply will not even try to poop on the toilet. He can go three days sometimes without a bowel movement, and when he does go, it is very sticky and dense and recently it really smells a lot like ammonia. I have just finished readings the Enzymes for Autism book and just this week started giving half capsules of Zyme-Prime with meals and just today started with a half capsule of Peptizyde in hopes that this will help him with this issue along with general improvement in his conversational skills. I intend to up the dosage to full capsules next week if he seems to be adjusting OK to everything. Does this sounds like the right protocol, and is there anything else I should be doing. Is this a yeast thing, or bacterial, or does anyone have any thoughts to share on this matter? Thanks ever so much! DeAnn
