Hi My name is Holly,

I live in Mt Airy Md, I'm responding to the Ben Carson at s Hopkins- He

has a very very excellent reputation- he has been in the newspapers many

times as well as local spots in the news- I had some interactions with s

Hopkins re health issues for myself back in 92 and heard of him then too.

GREAT DOC !!!!

My 6 mo old is being refered to Childrens Hosp in DC probably because of our

insurance Optimum Choice- anyone know what they cover- Has any other mom ran

in to the experience of continued head growth- my sono the day before he was

born when the only measurement taken was the head said he was going to come

out 9 1/2 or 10 lbs and he was breach- he was only 8 lbs 3 oz. at 2 mo his

head % was 75 at 4 mo his head % was 85 and at 6 mo it was 95% - each

appointment i asked about his head flatten in the right back side- and

bulging on the left back side- i see it is a typical position for plagio's-

we are going to see a Dr. Keating at childrens on monday feb 26 1:30p

I do not know of him, but s Hopkins is very good. I live in McLean, VA and work in Bethesda. Please let me know how it goes.

Hi Holly,

I went to Children's regarding mild tort and mild plagio. I was only mildly pleased. But, I did not see a neurologist. My little boy is 3.5 months with a head off the charts. He was 8 lbs. 13 oz at birth. FYI - I was told point blank that Children's Hosp. does not believe in helmets.
