Guest guest
I am a new Mom and my son is 2 months our pediatrician noted a bulging forehead and flat right back side of his head-we are waiting for a neuro appointment. Any suggestions in the mean time? He is already rolling over from back to side and although I try and reposition him he squirms away from the wedge pillows and gets to his back. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Beck
Guest guest
Welcome! I think most of us in this group have been there. I have a regular 7 year old boy and 5 year old identical twins girls with speech problems. One of my girls started talking around 3. She still has articulation problems, but she talks okay now. My other daughter has only recently started talking. I don't know where to even categorize her. She can say some sentences, but she can't say many 3 or more syllable words. She has lots of articulation problems, so even when she says sentences it is limited to the sounds that she can say. If your son needed tubes, it means he's had trouble hearing for awhile. If he can't hear, then he can't talk. I had a friend whose child had tubes put in when he was around 3. He started talking within a few months. It's good you have your son in speech. I'm sure the tubes will help, and the speech therapist will be able to tell if anything else is going on. Hopefully, your son won't have any long lasting speech problems. Good luck!
