Guest guest
Just wanted to chime in on this thread... Philip (our mercury/aluminum injured gestationally autistic 12m old... Mom flu shot, 8 amalgams and stress/immune status associated with the diagnosis of my first during Philip's gestation)... started cranial sacral/chiro at about 9m. WOW WOW WOW. Did I say WOW? DID YOU HEAR ME? Again, just in case you missed it... WOWWWWWWWWW. Huge smiles and tears here (right this second). That first night... he was staring at us... like he'd never seen us before. The next day... Imitative babbling for 24 hours! Of course we've never seen it again... but hey. The first few weeks... his babysitter would beg for me to take him again as you could seriously see the effect was wearing off. Now, it is not so noticable. But, we're never stopping. The first time the cranial doctor touched his head, she went white and said he was in so much pain (his fontenels had already closed and this is a kid whose HC went from the 25% at birth to already the 90%). She said the fluid was litterally not moving. The theory is (look up Upledger - or something like that - type in Cranial Sacral & Autism into Google)... the theory (with this type of autism)... that this is a autoimmune disorder that is not telling the durma (membrane in between the brain and the skull) to tell the skull to grow... hence the pressure, pain and even missing parts of the brain. And there should be plenty of space for the cranial fluid to flush over the brain/spine/everything. My husband just thinks she is massaging his head... little does he know that her husband is a chiro and is adjusting Philip's spine, neck and head. My husband will never know. At first, I thought this was C--P. That there was no way this would do anything. WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. Then, I was terrified (after the first visit)... now I'm addicted. This is right up there with Mb12 shots and Brainchild (maybe even higher). Now, everytime she touches him she gets everything aligned that much sooner... He no longer cries in pain (just annoyed cries). He has improved dramatically over the past two months... seriously. Still not pointing, waving or immitating (12.5m) but... we think he actually has receptive language now (this started about a month ago). He's socially referencing (not up to par yet... but, I'll take it). He's pushing himself physically (will probably walk on schedule). He taught himself to feed finally 3 weeks ago... he seriuosly had no clue that his hands could pick up food and put it in his mouth (we were physically doing every step for him before... and one day... it was there). It's unreal. His head is also less pointy at the paritial bones (sp?) (he was seriously developing horns, as that was the only place the pressure could be released). Now, we just have to get our almost 4 year old there... Oct. 11th is his first day. YEAHHHHHH. With him, we'll start with just the cranial massage, until he gets used to it... as I cannot have him tell his father they adjust his bones... hee hee hee. GET YOUR CHILD TO A CHIRO. xxoo to all of you Sally
