Guest guest
Hi all, I don't often join in the discussions because I have been researching enzymes for my son, PDD-NOS, but just started the enzymes last week. He is extremely underweight and I'm trying to get the most out of his food with enzymes. I am wondering if it's normal for the kids to complain of belly aches when starting enzymes. His bowels are regular and firm, but he is uncomfortable moving them and sits there for longer than usual. The belly aches seem to subside after he has moved his bowels, but I wonder if this is normal. Has anyone encountered this? Thanks, Laurie
Guest guest
Yes - I think belly aches are a normal part of the adjustment process of starting enzymes. I have heard this from adults starting enzymes and have witnessed it in my own child. (A child that had never been aggressive in her entire life started hitting people after starting enzymes) The low-slow intro into enzymes should help with this. The adjustment period should subside, but if it is too bothersome you may want to consider lowering the dose and working up slowly to the recommended amount. Candida is also in the stomach, and when it is killed off there, it causes stomach aches. Try cutting back on the coconut oil to the point where it doesn't cause stomach aches, and increase it more slowly from there. Also, if you've had stomach aches in the past your body will " retrace " such episodes per Hering's Law of Cure - search on my website for articles: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com I hope you feel better soon. Guest guest
Hi Bee, I will cut the coconut oil down to 2 teaspoons and hold until the stomach aches go away. I have had stomach problems going back to my childhood so I am not surprised they have come back. Thanks for your help,

You wouldn't necessarily hold until the stomach aches go away, since you've had stomach problems for so long. But you should increase coconut oil more slowly. Your stomach aches will also be " retraced " during the healing process, which is according to Hering's Law of Cures, so they will come and go accordingly. My stomach was my worst problem when I had candida. At one time during my candida program I could only eat 9 foods in the whole world (I had no choice because everything else came back up). But I persevered and was cured 2 1/2 years later. My stomach can still cause problems when I am stressed, since it seems to be emotionally connected as well. We also know that under stress digestion is hampered, so I go on a liquid diet and take hydrochloric acid during those times, and do deep breathing exercises. The best to you, Bee
Guest guest
Hi Bee, Following up on my stomach aches, they seem to be getting more severe now. I now have quite a crippling pain in my stomach and lower back. I am going to see my doctor tomorrow to rule out anything very serious. However, I just can't think what the problem is. - i thought it might be too much VCO so have dropped my intake to 1 teaspoonfull a day. No change - i thought it might be too much fibre (maybe too many ryvita) so have cut this out as well. No change - i thought it might be too much lemon juice (in the electrolyte drink). again no change I now you mentioned the problem might be a die off or a retracing of previous ailments. However, i have now have this pain for nearly 10 days and it is getting worse. i have been eating simple foods this weekend - soups, porridge, brown pasta (I have not yet eliminated all carbs) - but am seeing no improvements. your ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks paul > > > > Hi Bee, > > > > I will cut the coconut oil down to 2 teaspoons and hold until the > > stomach aches go away. > > I have had stomach problems going back to my childhood so I am not > > surprised they have come back. > > Thanks for your help, > > Hi . It can take that long for them to clear out of the system. > I now you mentioned the problem might be a die off or a retracing of previous ailments. However, i have now have this pain for nearly 10 days and it is getting worse. i have been eating simple foods this weekend - soups, porridge, brown pasta (I have not yet eliminated all carbs) - but am seeing no improvements. +++ the most important carbs to eliminate early on are all grains, i.e. brown pasta. Since you are having such difficulty with your stomach I recommend you do the 9-day Program, but you may have to stay on pureed foods much longer than 9 days, depending upon how you do - see this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/dig6.php It has helped many people get through severe digestive problems and die-off symptoms. Let me know how you do on that program. Healing vibes & prayers, Bee
Guest guest
Hi , How about doing just a day on bone broth & see how that goes. When I was having really bad diarrhea & stomach cramps (lasted almost 2 weeks), I did that just for a day. Then I started adding back the stuff that I can eat slowly day by day so that I could find the cause of the pain. For me it was the lemon, so I cut back & use only a small amt of lemon & also the egg drink, so instead of using the whole egg, I use just the egg yolk. I've found that this brought my pain under control. I'm slowly increasing the amt of lemon & hopefully add egg whites too. Hope u feel better soon.
