I've been part of the group for a while,but I never really ask

questions.I usally find answers just by lookinh through past entries

its really helpful.Cause I don't get to be on her often.But I've

been searching every treatment method doctor etc.And I feel the

natural is the best route for us.But read here and listenig to ya'll

i realise theres.Alot i need to learn.The DAN! doc. we see said my

so has regressive autism,up until that point he was diagnosed as

developmental delayedwith behavioral issues.The area I'm in is

sorely lacking in resources when comes to the natural approach.I'm

tring to get my son off of the strong meds they hav him on.Which are

not working lately.I'm if i can give you a little info on my son you

can point me in the right direction.He's five,nonverbal(had some

launge before age 2)has violent out burst can be destructive and

selfinjures.

He's affection will look you in the eye,doesn't know how to

play,recently started tring new foods is casin free.caffine free red

40 free.He's on risperdahl,valproic acid,cod liver oil,might-a-mins,

he becomes obsessive over things,stims constanly.he's not potty

tained.He's really smart he can things by watching you closely which

he does allllll the time.But refuses to do things you know he can

do.He's very freindly.Well I've babbled long enough any advice would

be grayly apprecaited.We're of o atlanta ga next week to go to the

MArcus Behavior Center.but of been reading up on the aba program I'm

just really cofused.besides I think thats only gona help a ittle his

problems go deeper than tantrums.Well thanksHelen
