Guest guest
Hi from Listened to the Bell show this weekend and hear Dr. Gez Agoli [DetoxAmerica.com]. He mentioned that Vitamin C that is not whole C does not have all of its components it needs. Could anyone comment on this? My Best! Vitamin U: created with large amounts of cabbage - seals and coats the gut lining to allow the body to repair itself.- stated by Dr. Gez Agoli Regards,
Guest guest
Whole C is probably what you get from eating whole foods rather than supplements. Or it's something they sell and say you can't get anywhere else. S S Well, ascorbic acid is C. As far as I know. Whole C as in what? Meaning? That there is a partial C? I am really unsure what he means, to the best of my vitamin studies..using a natural C and eating foods high in C is the only way to get C. From what I see of the website, much of the talk on there is " experimental " in terms of actual chelation and detoxing for heavy metals as what is practiced here. Vitamin U, huh? Thats interesting..magical cabbage is going to fix us all...hmm..? Sorry if I sound a bit skeptical but I have come across too many who proclaim simpler ways to remove heavy metals and miracle concoctions with which to do, but usually they are selling expensive snake oil. As far as I can tell, this site is pushing the sales of infared saunas which Andy has told us were not a good idea for those with mercury toxicity. Rather the use of regular saunas would be beneficial. In all my research, this would have to be the first I have heard of a " whole C " and cabbage as Vitamin U. Wish I could give you something more concrete. As we say, if it sounds to good to be true, or too out there..it probably is. > > Hi from > > Listened to the Bell show this weekend and hear Dr. Gez Agoli > [DetoxAmerica.com]. Guest guest
There are some people who believe C is a complex, a lot like B is a complex. I read some studies a few years ago that said there's a lot more than just ascorbic acid in vitamin C rich foods, and those additional compounds provide additional Vitamin C like activity. I haven't heard anything more about it since. Acerola powder is an excellent whole source of C that should provide the whole complex if it indeed exists. As for " Vitamin U " , this is the first I've heard of it. Cabbage is naturally rich in Vitamin C, so perhaps this " Vitamin U " is just one of the C complex? -Lana In all my research, this would have to be the first I have heard of > a " whole C " and cabbage as Vitamin U.
