I have experience with Carnival - they separate into age groups, and my two

daughters happened to be together most of the time, so the older " Typical "

child helped with the younger one - comforting, translating, etc.. My

daughter is not autistic, per se, but she is severely apraxic,

sensory-seeking, some food allergies, and would be considered ADHD. The

crew seemed fine with her and we had very few problems. They WILL contact

you if there is a problem. I highly recommend Carnival, but Disney Cruise

is THE BEST. I personally think a cruise is the best way to travel, and

for those of us who care for " special " kids - I think we need some time to

enjoy ourselves! E-mail me off list if you need any more info - we have

been on three Carnival cruises, a 4th coming up in the fall, and one Disney

cruise.
