Guest guest
IAQ & Sickbuilding List Members - The following is a post that came to me by way of yet another list I belong to - I am submitting to the IAQ List to see if some of our subscribers are able to offer some viable ways for this individual to significantly lower their exposure in the workplace. Because of this individual's occupation a mask is simply not a workable plan. I am also forwarding this post to the Sick Building List in the event any other workers in sick buildings have encountered the same situation & have any useful information or tips for this individual, [RxSpch001@...], other than a Speech Pathologist wearing a mask, for Pete's sake. Now how am I supposed to treat patients with a mask on??? I get really sick feeling, I itch all over, eyes tear and nose runs and my throat closes up at times and just got over my 3rd resp. infection in 4 months. Not to mention feeling dizzy and having trouble concentrating at work. I know it is affecting my productivity and job performance. I used to be a work a-hol-ic but not on this job. I can't wait to get out of the building!! Dread going everyday! Why doesn't this stuff affect everyone the same way? I am so glad I get these messages. I know that it is SBS because I have been on vacation a week and feel fine, now that I have finished my antibiotics..... thanks for any input.
