Guest guest Posted May 10, 2006 Report Share Posted May 10, 2006 My 4.5 year old boy appears to be having his first onset of eczema. This seems rather late too me, and we are unsure of what the cause is. Although it is either from exposure to someone's lawn a few weeks ago, or to a reintroduction of eggs from a month ago. (we will take them away again) I am really at a loss on how to treat this. He takes zyrtec and his ped recommended a topical corticosteroid. we tried this for alomst 2 weeks, and no real improvement. Plus I want to stop the topical creme. Can anyone give me advice on GFCF ways to help with itching and to get this under control? We've just never had this before.
