When he was 3 it was high functioning autism per the Pediatrician, his

speech therapist and SJ did 2 tests. When he was 4 it was looking like

auditory processing dysfunction and that has gone away and now it is

language disorder, not specified. We did all the labs last April ’05 and

have been treating him based on those labs and doing homeopathy too. Let me

Can you tell me what diagnosis your boys have? I'm a newbie on this list

and Max was diagnosed with PDD-NOS at age three (he is almost eight now). I

am trying to figure out what else we can do to make him progress, especially

in gaining height and weight. Thanks.

Belated Praise Report on Connor...

I have been so swamped, but we got Connor's new Speech/Language test scores

2 weeks ago and he came in at 65%. This is a HUGE success, since 2 years

ago he was at 1%. He is 5.5 years and scored at entry level Kindergarten

and is surpassing his 2 kinder peers in his speech group. This is an answer

to prayers! I have never worked so hard on anything in my life. Thanks to

all of you for your input through this and your support!! I have lived on

the enzyme & homeopathy group for the last year, guiding me through all of

these supplements and what to do. It really does work.

We have been to 2 different Naturopathic Doctors and have been doing a

variety of supplements, Houston enzymes (big improvement), removal of foods

and Homeopathy (trying a new remedy this month). Basically the supplements

are to heal his yeasty gut and other things he was lacking from his OAT lab.

We are retesting for metals this week (in both boys). The Homeopathy has

helped with sensory issues and irritability and I think sleep.although he is

still up in the night a couple nights a week. I am a believer and so is

Kurt, because the changes happen right before our eyes. Homeopathy is

powerful stuff. I bit 's poison oak remedy in my mouth to cut it in ½

and itched like mad for 2 days. So bad I had to take benedryl to make it

stop. My Homeopath said it was 'proving itself'. Also his Speech and OT

therapy group has evolved into this wonderful kinder group and he is

thriving there and the sessions are really 'clicking'. I haven't told his

Jr. K teacher of his special needs and so far he is 'blending'. I'm gong to

give her his IEP report from our last meeting so she can work on his new

goals. For those of you interested in what has helped him, here is his

supplement/homeopathy journal.

P.S. is on some of this too and is doing well in 1st grade with a

weighted pillow (10#). That alone and Vit B and Omega 3 has helped him be

able to focus.

with Mrs. Roach, which is Kinder entry level. She told us he will do great

in Kinder next year. There is hardly any processing delay at all. games at

gymnastics, super quick. Does art daily at home and is incredibly artistic

and knows it. Sense of humor. " The FED eX TRUCK Picked up our Tivo

box " ...constant recog=nition of things. Remembered thing last year.

Creative, making bows out of sticks. Writes him name in lower case now and

can count. Loves homework. makes symmetrical lego sculptures all the time.

The tough part of the day is Flag at . If I don't bring the jogger

and the Nintendo, we are toast. That is his only temperament time of the

day.
