Guest guest
Here is the latest info on Juice Plus. Juice Plus+ has always fallen within the definition of 'gluten-free established by Codex Alimentarius- an international agreement on food standards- which sets the limit for 'gluten-free'at 200 parts per million. Up to now, there has never been an official definition of 'gluten-free here in the U.S. " In March of this year, however, the FDA put out a proposal to set the definition for 'gluten-free' products in the U.S. as anything that falls below 20 parts per million. Juice Plus analyzed their formula and identified barley bran as the most significant source of gluten in their product. They determined that by replacing barley bran with rice bran, Juice Plus+ would comfortably fall below the new 20 parts per million requirement. My children have done wonderful on Juice Plus as well as my husband and myself. My daughter I believe has ADHD and she really cut down on her temper tantrums when I added Juice Plus+ chewables and Cod Liver Oil to her diet. I've used Nordic Naturals berry flavored liquid. Now I'm using Carlson Cod Liver oil which has no A or D vitamins in it. When who has PDD-NOS with Sensory Integration started on Juice Plus he was 45 pounds and I could never get his weight up. Then it went up to 48 pounds and by adding enzymes and going off the GFCF diet I have been able to increase his weight to 53 pounds. I really think these kids need additional enzymes (AFP Peptizyde and Zyme Prime) in addition to a good whole food nutraceutical such as Juice Plus+. It has research behind it and they continue to conduct independent double blind placebo research on different health groups. If anyone would like more info on Juice Plus, I have become a distributor because I wanted to help other mommies who have children on the spectrum find a good additional source of nutrition for their children and family. My web address is www.Eileen4JP.com I only provide that info because you can go on that website to look at the research studies done on Juice Plus. You can look on that website confidentially. Juice Plus also has a Children's Health Study you can check out on the website. Eileen McManemin Eileen4JP@...
