He is 65 lb. A lady at my local health food store says GSE works great for colds, but I have never used it for that. I use olive leaf extract, it works great for colds for my family. Guest guest
I started getting my kids' latest cold last week and used 2 drops in each side of my nose, 2 in each ear and 1 tablet of GSE and in less than a day it was virtually gone (including I had lost my voice but I was able to work the following day, that is, as a classical singer). Amazing stuff. Amy > > > > Hello, > > > > My son has a viral cold and a fever of 101.6. Would GSE help this and > > if so, how much should I give him? Guest guest
Dana 1 Candidase, 2-3 NF and GSF(liquid) giving in same time before or after meal. It doesn't matter how old is the child. Is this once/day? Thanks noahsmom7898 <noahsmom7898@...> wrote: Grapefruit Seed Extract. Amy > > > > Dana, you stated you started giving No Fenol with Candidase. I gave it whenever it was necessary. It is very effective on an empty stomach, but don't give too much GSE on an empty stomach because it is very strong. >>It doesn't matter how old is the child. Alter the GSE dose depending on the age/weight of the child. >>Is this once/day? Depends on how often he needs it. I have given it as much as 3-4x per day when the yeast was REALLY bad because of nasty viral " die off " . Dana
Guest guest
> > I have finally bought GSE drops. My daughter (ASD) passed her achy, headache, sore throat virus to me and she's gotten just fine...I'm a mess. Laryngitis, icky phlegm and coughing and no sleep. I've done OLE, OOO mix to fight the possible infection but can I add some GSE drops (how many?) without making myself sicker? Does GSE have any reactions with prozac? I believe Prozac is an SSRI medication, and GSE will tend to slow down phase I liver function, which can cause issues with metabolism of the SSRI if it is already slow [usually does not cause problems if phase I is normal or fast]. If you try GSE, start with only one drop, and watch for problems. Best to try another supplement tho, especially if you know her phase I is already slow. Guest guest
>>How many of you have gone as high as 17 drops of GSE at a time? I have gone much higher. >>How high has anyone gone? I can go higher with tablets, because the drops can really upset the stomach. Tablets take longer to work and are not as effective, but are also better on the stomach for high doses. It also depends on if the stomach is empty or full. >>the GSE has none of the nasty side effects the pain killer has, and I have energy, full mobility ( I don't limp at all) and my mood is normal. Great! When I have had nasty yeast in my head, I have taken as many as 50 drops at one time, and I have done this every 1-2 hours until the yeast-headache is gone. But don't try more than about 20 drops if your stomach is empty, or you might throw up. Dana
Guest guest
I started my daughter on Grapeseed Extract this past week. She started experiencing some itchiness on the edges of her ears. I had read that Dana recommended magnesium. This she has been taking however I upped the level to 1000 mg/day. Yesterday she came down with a nasty cold/allergy. Is this related as well? I gave her OLE last night but she woke up feeling quite punky. Any suggestions? Or do we just ride this out.

The abbreviation GSE is used by Nutribiotic company for grapefruit seed extract, which is entirely different than grape seed extract. >> She started > experiencing some itchiness on the edges of her ears. Possibly several things going on at once. Are you saying the OLE was helpful? I used it as an antibiotic and anti-viral. Dana

Yes, I know that now. I was getting this confused for days. I think I have been trying to digest far too much info at once. >> She started > experiencing some itchiness on the edges of her ears. Possibly several things going on at once. Are you saying the OLE was helpful? I used it as an antibiotic and anti-viral. I find all of this quite interesting. Not really sure what helped what. I just know that certain symptoms were beginning to show up after beginning OLE and GSE. Could yeast have gone to her outer ear area? I then gave extra magnesium, because I read that could help draw it back down and eliminate it. I went from 500 mg to 1000 mg. She called me to the bathroom in distress and showed me a very healthy BM. She had never seen one before, and she is 15 yrs. How long does one stay on OLE and GSE? She has been taking them for two weeks. Yesterday I started her on DMG chewables twice a day. She has always had verbal processing problems and is an athlete. The information seen here was far too compelling to pass by. She is not my child on the spectrum, but she has had seizures for a year, and is GFCFSFCF Robin N
