Guest guest Posted October 23, 2005 Report Share Posted October 23, 2005 My son has recentley began an antifungal fluconazole, has was taking nystatin prior to this (aprox. 7 months). We will only be giving this to him for 2 weeks, then return to nystatin. I hope this is safe, he is taking 60 mg a day, the pharmacist told me this is a very low dose. Has anyone had experience with this antifungal? He has been VERY hyper and cranky. Could this be die off? He is almost 4 and pretty non verbal so he can not tell me how he feels.
