[enzymes]new here w/Lipase ?

Hi, I just joined this list and am not sure if my concern is enzyme related...

my 4 yr old (PDD-NOS) had lab work done by a gastroenterologist last week. He

has ongoing bowel issues (constipated/diarhea and has been constipated for a

while now). The doc said that gluten and casein are not issues for him acording

to the results. I was going to try gf/cf diet, and understand that it can still

be beneficial regardless of his test results.

My question though is about Lipase.

The doc said his Lipase level was high and that he wants to redo the test.

I'm curious if anyone knows what that might mean and if that doesn't have to do

with enzymes, maybe can point me in the right direction?
