Guest guest
we've done it and the only thing is that its hard to wake them up. like a very long nap. my boy is a big guy but they gave him silly things to drink first, they did it at a hospital where he could be closely monitored and they spoiled him rotten. I would do it again. If I have to. They went in and did some stuff we didn't want to do in the future. Just to get it over with. Downside theres metal in his mouth when they capped two teeth. It was hard for him to get used to it. But I think its all relatively safe. Except the metal. I guess they are metal. They are shiny like metal. --------------------------------- Stay in the know. Guest guest
They are made of silver, which means there is mercury (at least I believe so). My son had three of these in his mouth! I was so thankful when those baby teeth came out. april cullins <aprilcullins@...> wrote: we've done it and the only thing is that its hard to wake them up. like a very long nap. my boy is a big guy but they gave him silly things to drink first, they did it at a hospital where he could be closely monitored and they spoiled him rotten. Guest guest
Can they do the laughing gas? My son had major work done today and he had the laughing gas. His eyes were wide open the whole time, watching cartoons and when he got 4 nova cane shots, his hand was still like a noodle.super relaxed. When the procedure was over he was able to walk by himself to the truck and was starving. Very little side effects. He is a wriggly, screamer and it was the peaceful experience. He didn't even know he had the shots and usually the drill sound would send him through the roof and he didn't even react to the sound. Also, I have a friend that worked with someone that lost their 5 year old while under at the dentist. If you have to do it I would, but I was so surprised at how great the laughing gas worked. Good luck.these decisions are SO hard and I was a wreck this morning going through this. _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Maxwell Sent: Monday, October 23, 2006 6:44 PM Subject: Re: Re: Help! Guest guest
We' ve never resolved this question...Was it the nitrous oxide or the fillings that caused the tics? My son was 9 1/2, never had any tics (we were watching for them due to family genetics), he left the dentist with MAJOR tics, eye blinking and grunting! IT didn't go away, ever...he's now 21 years old. I did some research into tourettes and the nitrogen and synapse is the problem. Nitrogen? Nitrous oxide? or was it simply mercury?fillings. My daughter has had to survive the dentist without anything, and we found a great pediatric dentist who works miracles with kids. She has ASD and doesn't speak and is 8. Severe anxiety disorder too. Guest guest
There is info @ chelatingkids2/ in the files re anesthetic agents. Nitrous oxide, 'laughing gas' is a huge B12 depleter. It can cause serious reprecussions in many. > we've done it and the only thing is that its hard to wake them up. like a > very long nap. my boy is a big guy but they gave him silly things to drink > first, they did it at a hospital where he could be closely monitored and > they spoiled him rotten. Guest guest
> > We' ve never resolved this question...Was it the nitrous oxide or the fillings that caused the tics? For my #1, tics were caused by yeast overgrowth. So possibly the fillings, which contained mercury if they were amalgams. >> My son was 9 1/2, never had any tics (we were watching for them due to family genetics), he left the dentist with MAJOR tics, eye blinking and grunting! Yep, these were some of my #1's tics. Gone now, with several supplements and a good yeast protocol. Someone mentioned B12 deficiency as a possibility. One of the supplements my #1 takes is a multi B vitamin, so it might be that also. Dana
