I am planning to participate in the June 4 walk in Westchester with a

family who got a team together in honor of my daughter, Ava. However,

personally I am not happy about walking alongside Hillary Clinton. Can

anyone enlighten me as to what this woman has done or is planning to do

for our cause? Will she sponsor the Combating Autism Bill? Is she for

the removal of thimerosal from vaccines? Is she supportive of opening

up the vaccine data base? Is she for studying vaccinated vs.

unvaccinated populations? Personally, I feel she is " for " anything

that helps her politically. And the one thing that stands out in my

mind is her 1993 Comprehensive Childhood Immunization Act. Am I

missing something?

Yeah, I wouldn't believe anything she says. She likely sees an opportunity to

pick up voters since many of us have been disgusted with the Republicans on this

issue and are banking on us switching sides. I refuse to believe she will do

anything except what others have done and simply follow the money trail.

...a former Republican...currently without party...

I can't get past the fact that her big push for immunizations put

many more kids on the Autism Spectrum.

I saw she was participating in that. I think she has a mixed

background as far as Thimerosal goes. She was involved in expanding

the vaccine schedule but she also helped get rid of the Lily rider

unless I'm mistaken. I'd say she still has the opportunity to

change and see this as an opportunity.

Good luck with the walk!!

I really think we have a bigger problem when it come to politics-

Dan Quayle's father is the largest share holder in Eli Lilly.

I cried for 2 week this past election- and the former president

Bush sits on the board at Eli Lilly.

I personally would be proud to walk with Hillary Clinton. She is a

women who has made public personal sacrifice..... something I feel

when I go to Wal-mart with my son who has Autism and he cries and

makes everyone look at me like I'm beating him. My 2 cents Ann
