Guest guest Posted October 16, 2006 Report Share Posted October 16, 2006 Hi, Whenever I start my son on virastop and 250mg OLE (given with candidase), 1cap twice a day, he gets sore throat the very next day.He then starts getting aggressive , a bit violent and starts banging his head and cries in pain. This goes on for the entire week which is the longest spell I could keep him on VS, with no improvements alongside. Should I continue to keep him on it ? He is ok on only OLE/candidase. Kindly help. It's from bacteria. Sore throats can also be from an actual allergic reaction, or from reflux (the acid getting into your throat.) Reflux can be caused by yeast, which Virastop can definitely promote, and also by excessive acid due to not tolerating something - which happened to us from Virastop. I still can only use one capsule very occasionally, for a serious virus, and nothing in between or extra. We couldn't tolerate virastop without food, which is how you're supposed to take it. I had to give it with small amounts of food or my kids got really bad stomachaches.
