Guest guest
I give OLE 20-30 minutes before breakfast. Did you try to stop it for a few days? that's usually how I can tell if a supplement is helping or not my son. Sorry, I don't know about your other questions. > > Hello I know this comes up a lot, but I am still confused about what > supplements can be given together and which should be given away from > each other and food. None of the 3 of us were able to tolerate ViraStop on an empty stomach, although you are supposed to take it that way. But even with food it has had amazing results here. (OLE usually with food also, although it is fine with or without. Virastop causes really bad stomachaches or reflux for us, without food.) > > By the way we have been using the OLE for about 3 weeks without any > > noticable change one way or another with exception to a little nose > > running. I didn't see any autism improvements initially either, but I did see a very significant reduction in length and severity of illnesse, like colds, and allergies (especially environmental allergies, not so much with food issues.) So over time my son has gone from sick twice a month to almost never. Our allergy symptoms have been almost invisible, to everyone but us (behaviors or small things like dark circles under my kids' eyes), last fall and so far this spring. So you might notice over time, a general health improvement. It is also very effective when you're exposed to something or first coming down with it (like or with echinacea), to shorten the duration. Guest guest
Thanks Amy-can I ask further what type of amazing results you experienced with the Virastop and how long did it take to see those results?? Guest guest
Thanks -I haven't stopped it to see if it made a difference. Since we are only on about week 3 I wanted to give it at least a good month or so. However, I may try that to see if it is helping because it does seem to take up a lot of her " phenol " tolerance reserves, so to speak. I would hate to keep going with it if it isn't helping. Thanks again for your insight. Guest guest
> > Thanks Amy-can I ask further what type of amazing results you > experienced with the Virastop and how long did it take to see those > results?? Sheresa My son's language abilites really improved. For example he is able to put almost abstract concepts together in his mind, regarding language. I have not tried to teach him to call me anything for years, but he started calling me " Amy. " He is able to spontaneously come up with things that he's not previously been taught and use " I don't like " and " Where is " as well as " I want/I see " sentences. So his ability to use slightly more complex language, as well as come up with the phrases or ideas on his own, opened up. For instance a few weeks ago he wanted me to come lay with him (I didn't know that though, he was just yelling out " uhhh " from his room.) I didn't think he'd really answer me but I yelled back, " What? " and he replied, " I want a Amy. " He would have yelled his word that means " come " before, or come and gotten me physically. That was very abstract for him to come up with and say totally on his own, without any scripting or having been taught that in any way. It is kind of hard to put into words because it's more like what Dr. Megson talks about, pathways being unblocked, than an actual quantifiable number of new words or something more like that, but it's really astonishing to see him able to retrieve and use language in ways I wouldn't even know how to teach him, because it's starting in his mind before he forms the actual thoughts or words. Like the idea to use language to communicate is starting to take hold in a new, stronger way. He was a prenatal/HepB mercury baby who was clearly autistic from about 2 days old, so I didn't realize viral issues applied to him, but I tried using the Vitamin A protocol initially because, well, I pretty much try everything Dana's done (and my son did have all his vaccines, including MMR, and lost what little he had after that). The high dose Vitamin A really helped with language acquisition and increasing vocabulary. But the Virastop is doing exponentially what that did. Guest guest
That is so amazing and wonderful. Thanks for sharing it with me. We could certainly use some of those type improvements. My daughter is verbal, but she doesn't have much skill in coming up with novel things to say. She was more of a flu shot victim and didn't really show much problem until around 12 months after her first flu shot. Of course it wasn't such a noticeable thing that I could put it all together at that time. So she went on to get 2 more flu shots, along with everything else until I really noticed the connection. Thank goodness I put it all together before her 4 year boosters which **would** have included the MMR booster. And she would have also received yet another flu shot last fall. (makes me shudder to think about it) Anyway, today was only my second day to give just 1 virastop so we will see how this progresses. I truly don't know if she has viral issues or not, but I guess you don't know until you try some things. And I'm like you, I have read probably everything on Dana's site and have learned so much from her. She is amazing. By the way, what dose of virastop are you using for your son. I've heard many variations on this. Sheresa > > > > Thanks Amy-can I ask further what type of amazing results you > > experienced with the Virastop and how long did it take to see those > > results?? I give them together. Sometimes it is really close to a meal, but usually it is about an hour before meals. And sometimes my son will want a snack right after I give him the supplements LOL > By the way we have been using the OLE for about 3 weeks without any > noticable change one way or another with exception to a little nose > running. I gave OLE for several months and did not really notice anything, so I tried to remove it. MAJOR REACTION!!!! So it might be that you don't notice anything unless you try to remove it, especially if there are severe virus issues. Dana
Guest guest
Dana thanks for that great link. I will study that one for sure. I'm not sure how well the virastop is going so far. This is the 3rd day of giving just 1 capsule and I think I am seeing some behavior regressions. (getting upset about things that generally wouldn't, spinning with her eyes closed-just a few times, and just generally fussier. I'm nervous to keep going with it. I have been giving it with OLE and no-fenol, but away from other supplements- and she too will sometimes snack after the supplement. So I'm not sure if I should continue. Maybe she doesn't tolerate the virastop. For my son, spinning meant yeast overgrowth http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm Increase your yeast protocol, see if that helps. Dana
