Guest guest
Help! We have identified corn as a major cuprit in our son's issues (sensory, motor planning, dev delays esp speech). I elimated Corn Syrup last Jume; and more recently obvious corn products. Now after the preschool OT gave him popcorm we know corn is an issues. But now I am realizing it is EVERYWHERE including ingredients you never guessed. For those with kids with corn intolerance, do you find you must also remove dextrose and citric acid? They are in his vitamins and supplemnets! Yikes. did not know those were corn products. What other ingredients should I look for that are not obvious? Did you find corn starch, etc affected kids too? My son is on the Houston Trio but i have read some kids still cannot consume corn? My son has done great since removing HFCS, all artifical everything and preservatives in June. Added enzymes in Aug. But he still has a way to go, esp with behavior. Perhaps this is the answer...would appreciate any help or insight.
