If there is no food in the stomach, they do what you intended, if ther eis food that they CAN digest they will. posted that giving with with food that they weren't meant to digest was a way round the empty stomach thing. Virastop is largely protease as I recall (that would be digesting proteins), Candex I forget right now, its late in the UK! Anyways, you may be losing some of the effectiveness of the enzymes by them being used up on foods. Enzymes do what they do, they are very smart! Guest guest
Hi there, I have been giving my kids virastop & candex with meals for months now and have seen no adverse affects~I could've sworn I read somwehere on this list that candex & virastop with food was ok? Anyhow, I went to brainchild to purchase more candex and they have a new note on the page about candex stating that it is " critical that it be taken on an empty stomach " ~so I am a bit concerned and confused? Any clarification/information on this and why it would be critical or how it may be harmful with food would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for this wonderful list & all your info share!! Guest guest
Azalyne, I don't think harmful is the issue, effectiveness is. We always give it per the directions, and we give it 2hours after food, empty stomache, or way before food. It really works then, don't forget the 8ozs of water Bridget > > Hi there, > I have been giving my kids virastop & candex with meals for months now and have seen no > adverse affects~I could've sworn I read somwehere on this list that candex & virastop with > food was ok?
