Hi there,

Yes, we have been using NDF+ since September. Lots of improvements, very

subtle. Improved speech, awareness, less enzymes required in our case. No

tests

done but I definately feel we are removing metals of some sort. Think we

will see huge improvements as the months go by. Now up to four drops a day.

There are two kinds: NDF and NDF Plus. NDF Plus is less strong, and is the

one most people with ASD kids are using, I believe. My son has been taking

it since last summer. Don't know if it's helping, but he tolerates it very

easily, and seems to be doing well.

My son is a large eight years old.

I note that you have upped the drops quite quickly if you only started in

January however, if you have not seen any negative results then obviously so

far, its an okay dose for your son.

Thanks for the info. How old is your son? Mine is 14 yrs old and I

just increase to 5 drops per day, we started in mid-January. I

wanted to know if anyone else was using it and what were the

results. I am not sure about the dose for a boy my son's age.

Since he is 14 yrs old I started with 3 drops, and then move to 4

until this week when I upped it to 5. I am not sure exactly what the

max will be. Because of his age I usually go with the adult version

of therapies. :)

I like to know from anyone who can help i am going to be soon going to winston

salem to pick up a bottle of NDF Plus from Dr. Hines, and my son medical doctor

i will be meeting on the 27th, to do some of the testing that can be done in his

office and the rest he will make a referral, not sure what tests he can do in his

office. but will find out. but I know NDF Plus only removes mercury, i had

brought up new product of chelate called Bio chelate from new beginnings where

she told me where to get justin supplements for a 3 month supply under 100's.

and world health mall. where I assume where her patients get their supplements

she told me to try sleep is gold and ADD-up (hyperactivity) but sleep is gold is

to help him sleep. and give him zinc since he is stimming and have repetitive

behavior has increased. but has anyone had their child tested for mercury.

before using NDF Plus. I did ask her if i cannot find anyone who will test him

and if medicade does not cover it. could i

still use the NDF Plus. if he hasn't been tested. she told me yes. I am looking

forward to get started on it. Bio-chelate thru new beginnings she said well

since they have it and selling it, it should be fine to use if i wanted too. bio

chelate removes more than just mercury. if anyone want to look into and read

more about it. safe to use. I will appreciate anyone to reply back. also i am

very hesitant to use kirkman products due to splenda ingredients in his

supplements and products . which splenda is very bad for our kids not including

aspartame. which are the same i believe. looking forward from hearing from you

all. take care.AnnetteAnnetteFrom: vickila1@... [mailto: vickila1@...]To:

There is a support group for NDF users, a group:

BioRaynaturaldetox/

We used this product with good result and no negatives. There are

files on the support group on how to start and use the NDF. I would

be most comfortable starting with this one before you are

well-supplemented. All the other chelators are going to remove things

you need with them, like zinc and calcium, so you want to make sure

your child is adequately supported on those fronts before you start a

chelator like EDTA (in the biochelate). That said, the biochelate has

a fairly low dose, so it's safety would be better.

There is no very good test for mercury toxicity directly (unless you

have had a recent large exposure). In general, some people use a hair

test ($99, not covered by insurance or medicaid - you can google

" counting rules hair test " to see how to interpret a hair test. There

are some indicators on an organic acid test of mercury toxicity too.

Once using a chelator, people also often use a urine toxic screen to

see if they are excreting anything (also $99, I'm not sure in which

cases it will be covered). You can also do a blood test for mercury,

but this will not pick up mercury in tissue (or lead, for that matter).

I would get the basics done first. Good supplementation, trying to

get the gut in better shape, etc., before you start focusing on

chelation. Often these steps will improve symptoms drastically and

dramatically. Hopefully your doctor will be able to help you come up

with a plan for supplementation.

Good luck!

Judy
