Our ND told me that any more that 250mg of Vit C can cause bladder

infections or kidney stones. We do EmergenC drinks for breakfast and I

can only give my son ¼ of the packet based on her info. Has anyone else

been told that? Also, we do B12 Powder from Kirkman, under the tongue

and it is working great.

Almost made it! B12?

Something in this Vitamin is definately helping her. She always does

better after I give it to her and than it appears to just run out.

It's to the point that I look forward to giving it to her because she

starts looking at me like a neurotypical child and she starts to ask

tones of questions. A BIG THANK YOU TO THE GROUP! We have moved

mountains in the past 8 months. We started treating her biomedically

last June. She does so well since starting this vitamin on February

3rd that I think - GOSH WE FINALLY MADE IT! If we could just keep her

from the fluctations. Also- I think we are finally potty trained! YEA!

Kikman's Multi-Vitamin Mineral Capsules

Vitamin A 2500 iu 100%

Vitamin D-3 200 iu 50%

Vitamin E(di-alpha tocopheryl acetate 60 iu 200%

Vitamin C (acorbic acid) 120 mg 200%

Vitamin B-1 (Thiamine Hydrochloride) 3 mg 200%

Vitamin B-2 (as riboflavin phosphate coenzyme) 3.4 mg 200%

Niacinamide 20 mg 100%

Vitamin B-6 (Pyridoxine Hydrochloride) 4 mg 200%

Pantothenic Acid(d-calcium pantothenate) 10 mg 100%

Folic Acid 400 mcg 100%

Vitamin B-12 12 mcg 200%

Biotin 60 mcg 20%

Calcium (carbonate/citrate) 100 mg 10%

Iodine (potassium iodide) 150 mcg 100%

Magnesium (oxide/glycinate) 40 mg 10%

Zinc (citrate) 15 mg 100%

Selenium (amino acid and chelate) 25 mcg 35%

Manganese (citrate) 2.7 mg 100%

Chromium (piccolinate) 25 mcg 20%

Molybdenum (amino acid chelate) 25 mcg 33%

Co-Ensyme Q-10 10 mg

Thinking it may be the Vit B6 I gave her Super Nu Thera for one day.

She was given 1/4th of the recommended dosage and it was divided into

three portions, given throughout the day. She did not respond well so

I stopped.

The Metallothionein Theory seems to really fit us. I think she is an

overmethylator and that she is responding positively to the B12.

Should I try Methyclobalamin vitamin? With or without Folic Acid?

Our allergist is mailing a hair analysis kit to us.

She responded very well to vitamin C - it appeared to help her with

her viral issues. As I understand it Vitamin C also helps to

neutralize histamine.

I do not believe that her current symptoms are due to yeast and

bacteria issues that we have had to battle.

4 yr PDD-NOS (allergies: Gluten, Dairy, Egg, Peanut & Vanilla)

SCDiet

Houston's trio enzymes

Antigen for egg and inhalent

Kirkman Multi-vitamin/Mineral Capsule

Vitamin C 450 mg + mult-vitamin = 570mg

Mag Chlor drops 10 drops

Zinc (Zince Alpha Keto Glutarate) 5 mg + multi-vitamin = 20mg

O of O 2 drops twice daily

Epsom Salt soaks

A question for myself- My fingernails are very ridged. Could this

mean a Zinc deficiency?

Thanks, Melinda

Not what I have been told...My son's DAN Drs have said

you can give as many milligrams up to the point of

bowel discomfort. We've been on upwards of 1000mg of

Buffered Vit C before. We are not on any Vit C right

now on account of his up and down bowel issues.

Unfortunately, there is an obvious increase in illness

though when not on Vit C. He is sick yet again...less

than a month ago he was in the hospital for being

sick. ;-(

My son (31 lb) gets over 2000 mg of C on the recommendation of his DAN. C is a

very important antioxident vitamin for people with high oxidative stress. I

have never experienced a blader infection and have been taking high doses of C

for years.

Best,

For my son, I was also able to watch something " run out " . I would

give another dose when I saw that happening.

Great!

I would try it with folic acid. My kids did very badly with mB12

unless I gave it with folic acid.

Here is good info on kidney stones, I used IP6 for myself with great

success

http://www.kroger.com/hn/Concern/Kidney_Stones.htm

I gave my son 24 grams [yes, grams] per day and he was fine.

Is your child calcium toxic?
