Guest guest
This is the second time I have heard of this since my NT daughter had what sounds like these in August. My pediatrician said that hers was something along the chicken pox and herpes virus. My daughter had it on her hand and a patch about the size of a quarter on her forearm. The doctor said if it started to spread up her limb (I think along some nerve) that she would need antibiotics which of course happened. But it was not contagious. She said maybe if they were totally oozing but hers weren't but they looked filled with something and then scabbed over. Unfortunately now she has scars from it on her arm which I hope go away. Good luck! > > There isn't any fever and no spots on his truck, but the red spots are > popping out (6 new ones today) and they itch really bad. Guest guest
My daughter also has something that sounds similar but the dermatologist said they were called molloscum and that it is a virus and contagious if open. They used what they call bug juice on them to turn them into a big water blister and once popped they go away. Re: what can help Chicken Pox looking sores? Guest guest
The sores spread up his legs last night before bed and he got 2 on his face.not a single one on his truck and still no fever This morning 2 of them are watery and they aren't scabbing dark red like chicken pix. They are tall and white and crusty (sorry for the gross description). I did crushed lysine in his bath with oatmeal and gobs of Vit C. I read a Moms protocol for antiviral baths last night (from the Enzyme group.let me know if you want me to forward it), but I was afraid the Epson Salt would sting the sores. No antibiotics.holding off since we are fighting yeast. Since 2 are open I read they are contagious and the Ped said they are too. I got one on my stomach and my hubby has 3 on his legs this morning, but ours don't itch and still look like a mosquito bite. We are feeling invaded! Thanks for all the advice.keep it coming if there is more I can do. _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Corina My daughter also has something that sounds similar but the dermatologist said they were called molloscum and that it is a virus and contagious if open. Try giving anti-virals. Vitamin A and C, olive leaf extract, Virastop enzyme. >>I hate to do antibiotics since we are working on yeast > already. Any other tricks I can do to help him? Try a cream, rather than oral. Dana
Guest guest
It sure sounds like chicken pox!! I have known of some to have mild pox and no fever etc. If the docs are saying it isnt the pox and viral, then I am curious to what " new " thing this is? Sounds as though others have gotten it also, and am curious if these are in the same area or spread throughout other area's. As with the chicken pox, not a whole lot can be done to help with itching, except things like over the counter for itching and Im sure there are natural remedies to help aleviate the discomfort. I am curious still what this is? Guest guest
Any way of culturing what is coming out of the lesions so you would 'know'? > > > > There isn't any fever and no spots on his truck, but the red spots > are > > popping out (6 new ones today) and they itch really bad. Guest guest
We were told we could treat it with a genital herpes medication or just leave it alone and it would go away by itself and it could take up to a year. It has been about 8 mo and we are still trying to get rid of it. The rash is located in the crease of the arms and back of legs. Every time some go away new ones appear!
