What causes increase of bacteria?

I know viral die-off can increase yeast. What protocal or supplements

can increase bad bacteria and what can you do besides increase

probiotics and use olive leaf extract if the bacteria gets really bad?

Any one using the supplement hydrochloric acid? Since using this we

have had much easier time with constipation. Any pros and cons with

using this?

Thanks, Melinda

You can have the same die off effect with bacterial issues, in terms of

what to give you sould really do a CDSA test. They will identify the

bacteria and what it is sensitive to. Both natural and antibiotic

options will be listed.

Re the acid, I would also test and try and confirm that. It is found in

many mercury toxic people they have low stomach acid and it helps to

supplement but if you don't need it from what I have read its worse to

supplement if its not required. Does you no good for some reason, I

think because there is too much acid produced and it damages the

stomach.

Are you saying that viral die-off can increase bacteria? We have had

bacteria and yeast in check in the past than started working on

viruses and what we gave appeared to address viruses but threw

bacteria and or yeast out of balance. Currently appears more bacteria

than yeast in her symptoms and behaviors. We do have heavy metal

issues as well. Deranged mineral transport and high arsenic. Need to

get things under control before starting chelation.

What are your thoughts on Natural Cellular Defense?

Hi Melinda,

We've been using NCD for about a month with AWESOME results. So good

in fact that I'm considering going off the TD-DMSA and doing NCD

full time. My daughter is 3 years old, 35 lbs, previously non-verbal

or close to it. Since NCD she has perfect eye contact, receptive

language is through the roof and stims are gone. She appears now to

be a 3 year old with a severe language delay. I just got a urine

test back and she is dumping lead, aluminum and uranium. We are

doing NCD on the off days we do TD-DMSA (3/11 schedule), so we're

doing way more NCD than DMSA. I love it so far.

Blessings,

S.

Hi personally I control the bacterial issues through the SCD diet

mostly, the majority of bacteria likes starch, some I have found

(citrobacter like sugars also). To control citrobacter and candida no

sugar is a requirement. For viral issues I am not so experienced.

Follow that with good diet and probiotics and they come under

control, possibly can be treated short term with antibiotics or

natural substances but can often return e.g klebsiella, many people

seem to find these clear up when metal burden is removed from the

body and better/full immune function returns.

I too would be interested if any treatment types/substances do

increase some overgrowths of candida/bacteria etc

Could do with an edit function on these posts, forgot one thing.

Where I mentioned about whether some treatment substances cause

overgrowth of candida/bacteria. I say this because I am not so sure

they do from what I have gathered over time, e.g people often rid

candida and get bacteria etc etc. What often happens is these are

opportunistic and when one thing is treated unless the good guys

quickly take up residence the bad ones happily do.

May I ask what is a CDSA test?

Its a comprehensive stool test to diagnose the cause of gut issues.

Often doctors and standard hospital tests do not pick anything up and

they just diagnose " IBS " for every case where there seems to be gut

issues. They say eat more fibre, try a better diet etc. So people go

to these specialist labs to have tests done instead to pick up what

is actually causing the problem. See http://www.gdx.net/home/ for

example
