Hello,

I am new in the group. I used enzymes long time ago and then stopped. My son

was on GFCF for years, now I want to introduce some gluten back, and I ordered

Kirkman enzymes specifically for gluten. I know many people in this group use

Houstoni (?) brands.

My question is normally how long enzymes stay in the digestion system. How

long are they effective once you give them,. (my son still can not swallow, so I

open the capsule and give him in his juice)

Thank you,

Esra

Esra,

In medical trials my group has been done with adult patients with

Irritable bowel syndrome and functional dyspepsia, symptoms appear

again after one week (6-7 days)without enzymes. We still do not

have data on children, but my kid turns to be hyper at four days

without enzymes.

Regards,

VICTOR

I used HNI enzymes. For my son, in the beginning they would be

effective for 45-60 minutes before I would have to give him more.

Later on as his gut was more healed, they would last about 90 minutes.
