I buy fresh papaya at Whole Foods and we all eat it - including my 11 month

old son. It seems like a perfect food for little toddlers b/c when ripe it

is nice and soft. It has a wonderful flavor and is also good with lime.

Papaya is a beautiful fruit and i do love it.i blend it with mango for my

9months old daughter. It is high in Amines(which is not so good for people that

react to it),low in salicylate.it does not contain monosodium gluamate (which

some children react to).

Also another fruit you might want to consider is mango

It is moderate in salicylate but does not contain Amine nor monosodium

glutamate.

Like papaya, it is rich in vitamine A which helps heal the gut and prevents

the attachment of harmful bacterias and some viruses like measles to the gut

especially in children.

Also English pear is good.for some reason, fungi cannot feed on its sugar.

Below is the nutritional value of papaya compared to other fruites.

I feed a lot of fresh papaya to my 11 month old son as well. Honestly I

wouldn't use it " instead of " enzymes. I know it couldn't tackle my

daughter's issues that for sure (leaky leaky gut); but for those who

tolerate it, it is a terrific part of a healthy diet - rich in antioxidants

and enzymes and tastes so great.

Has anyone tried Raw Papaya ...instead of

Enzymes ???
