What would you do if you were in my shoes?

I do not know what to make of my 2 year olds behavior? What do you

think could be the problem and what would you do? We go to see the

doctor again tomorrow.

It all started when my son got a bug. It was diarrhea for a few

days then it progressed to vomiting for 10 days. During this time

if he wanted a drink in the middle of the night we would give it to

him to make sure he was getting enough fluids. Once the flu was

over he continued to wake-up and wanted juice and water. He then

started to bang his head on the walls and floors in the middle of

the night. (He had never done this before!) When we would go in his

room he would ask for juice. We figured that he had just been

spoiled from being sick so we tried for weeks to not give him juice

and figure that the head banging was a way to get a reaction.

(There definitely is a reaction because we are connected to our

neighbors.) It as been 3 months now and we still have the same

problem. We have given into pacifying him b/c he would not stop

banging his head without having juice. He wakes up several times

bangs his head and then when we come in the room to tell him to stop

he begs for juice. We have put him on N0-Fenol, peptizyde and

probiotics for a few weeks now (he has been on a full capsule for 1

week now that we took some time to work up to it. Do you think we

will see any improvements soon with sleep? He only knows a few

words so he cannot tell us what is going on. It has been rough and

very humbling. It can feel helpless at times not knowing what is

going on with our child.

What can you make of this? Could it be that he is just wanting a

reaction? Just thought I would ask so I can be prepared when we go

to the doctor tomorrow. Thank you!
