Guest guest
Thank you christiane, I can't agree more and I just want to say I am sorry about the bath tub. I know how you feel. It does hurts. I did order the hundred test kit from the site that Mandi sent as I will be testing any toy and anything that comes to our house from now on. Better paranoid than sorry. And here I am reposting the site for those who want to order. For a large quantity test, it is a very good price. http://www.leadinspector.com/product/index.php Best, Haleh --- Christiane Kuechler <christianekwilliams@...> wrote: > Hi everybody - > > > > So here is an email for all the observers and lurkers - PLEASE take action. > > > > The topic of lead has come up several times during the last months that I > have been on this list. > > I always thought " Sure, lead tests - sound like a good idea. Guest guest
What kind of bathtubs are you finding lead in? Our house is only a few years old and has composite material tubs. Is lead only found in metal tubs from older houses or is this something even us with newer homes need to be testing for. I am curious about the lead especially in those dishes someone just posted about. What other things are you finding that is testing positive for this? You have me really wondering, which is a good thing! I don't remember lead being particularly high for my son but that doesn't mean he and his siblings aren't being exposed to it on some level. Thanks Haleh! haleh niazmand <halniaz@...> wrote: Thank you christiane, I can't agree more and I just want to say I am sorry about the bath tub. I know how you feel. It does hurts. Guest guest
, I found lead in the ceramic dinnerware I bought at Target last year. The glaze had lead in it. I only tested the one with yellow and white glaze. I bought two sets, yellow and blue both with white stripes. I found that the white glaze which is present in both had lead in it. I am going to test all toys as well especially anything plastic that has paint in it. Last fall also children lunch boxes had lead in it. I must say I should have done this earlier but I thought that since the dishes were new, they were safe. I only started after we got our new blood test for Keyon for both minerals and toxic elements (metametrix) and his lead level is up in the red. We had this test done in Late november as part of ION test and this was not the case indicating new exposure, so there must be more exposure than the dishes alone. It is maddening that we can't trust anything anymore. Call me hysterical or paranoid if you will but I think this is deliberate and FDA is purposefully looking the other way. A mass poisoned population is least likely to practice self-governance as it is the case here in the US now compare to the 60s (the social critic in me is speaking here) and having people sick has proved to be extremely lucrative. Now that this is off my chest, best wishes, Haleh --- lvchefmel <lvchefmel@...> wrote: > What kind of bathtubs are you finding lead in? Guest guest
Thanks for this. I've had the lead strips for months. Guest guest
Haleh, you said something EXTREMELY powerful when you wrote that having sick people is very lucrative...I have felt that way for a long time! I have become very cynical of some highly respected organizations that fundraise 100's of millions of dollars...and yet, NO CURES?? Hmmmm, the longer we keep, say, cancer, uncureable (or so they say), we have reason to continue fundraising and continue with some probably pretty nice jobs. I hope I am totally off base, and I hope I haven't offended anyone. My family is loaded with breast cancer, and possibly ovarian as well. I also have to admit, much to my dismay, that I would have no clue about any connection to lead or mercury if my third child hadn't been affected...my first 2 are nt. Most people don't have a clue as to what is slowly poisoning all of us, some of us it just shows up " better " (say...autistic characteristics) it has nothing to do with " better diagnosing " . Yep, the public is asleep as to what is going on..... Like you, I just had to vent... haleh niazmand <halniaz@...> wrote: way. Guest guest
Thanks Haleh, I am going to order the large kit. Too curious and I have that type of dishes all over the place. I don't think you are paranoid at all. I think you are right on. I read that the founder of Merk went on record as saying his dream was to have all healthy people on medication. I don't trust any of them. We are getting more and more into natural healing and rarely use any pharma drugs. Goal to to never use them!! Thanks so much for this information, will be curious to see what I find with lead in it. Thanks for the great link to those test kits. 100 tests or $50 is really not bad, 50cents per test. Shipping is only $5 too, that is great! haleh niazmand <halniaz@...> wrote: , I found lead in the ceramic dinnerware I bought at Target last year. The glaze had lead in it. Guest guest
reminds me of a lead- in story in a diabetes magazine i read some years ago: " would you cure a disease that nets $10 billion per year? " vicki
Guest guest
Well I went out and got a few kits from Lowe's yesterday and guess what!! Yep some of my dishes were contaminated with lead! These were the dishes that I have generally used for my 4 young children for the past 4 years. It was an old set of Corell dishes that my Mom had used for years and gave them to me since they are not easily broken and she felt they would be very easy to use for children. Of course they went promptly in the trash and the rest of my dishes were fine. So... if you haven't gone to get your kits - don't put it off any longer. This is an easy way to test and eliminate ongoing exposure to our kids.
