Guest guest
Hi Guys: Can someone explain to me why when my msgs appear on the board, they aren't 'wrapped' properly and there are spaces and line breaks where I never put them? I use Outlook and Windows XP. I am sure it is some sort of formatting issue. Has been bugging me forEVER but I never think to ask. Makes all my messages look a lot LONGER than they are! And since it doesn't happen to everyone I am assuming there is a way to fix it! Thanks in advance, Josie RE: Re: Josie- amino acids Hi: The plasma amino acid test and the custom blend were both recommended by a DAN doc, Dr. Cave, and came as part of a complete 'package' of supplements we worked up to. Enzymes and probiotics and Brainchild Vits and Mins were in place before we got to the aminos (actually all were in place before we even got to Dr. Cave). My daughter never had the ASD diagnosis, or any diagnosis. She was a late walker and a late talker (31 months for speech) but with above average receptive skills. She also had some sensory. As it turned out she had all the biomedical markers for autism and easily could have been one of those children who just.slipped. She is only partly vaccinated but I am loaded w/amalgam and my family history on both sides includes some auto-immune. Today she is thriving on the supplements and simply has a few remaining gut problems. Taking her to Dr. Cave was one of the best things we ever did. I should add that when we came home from our first visit to Dr. Cave with a boatload of supplements, I ran straight to a wonderful nutritionist I had at the time. Not only was she proficient at reading the test values, she is a gifted muscle tester. She helped me sequence the supplements. We didn't have any setbacks at all and I belive this was in part b/c this nutritionist told me how to add what Cave had recommended (We have since moved and I MISS this woman and havent been able to replace her skills yet - muscle testing is terrific when it is done properly but not everyone who claims to do it can do it you know?) Take care, Josie Josie, Was the plasma amino acid test & custom amino blend done by a DAN doctor or a regular doctor? Thanks
Guest guest
I don't know Josie, but I have exactly the same problem. I have a Macintosh computer. Could that be the problem? Guest guest
Because truncates the line at 72 characters, which is generally shorter then setting used by email programs like Outlook or Mac Mail. People who use 's email service won't see this quirk because the default setting is 72. So the bit past 72 characters gets wrapped to the next line and the end of that bit has Outlook's 'end of line' character that sees and that signals an end of sentence. If the line is truncated from a quoted text, then the bit that is kicked over doesn't get indentation marker. Like this > this sentence was too long so this happened. > Then the text carried on so it looked like this. It can be hard to read. My best solution has been to use mail and manually correct text that gets quoted like the above (before I hit send) to look like: > this sentence was too long so this > happened. > Then the text carried on so it looked > like this. I really hope that made sense! P
