Virastop - Serrazimes

Has anybody heard of or tried this enzyme product?:

I read the posts from November of last year that discuss the concern

about serrapeptidate being derived from a pathogenic bacteria. It

seems that there isn't much to worry about there, but it's hard to

know anything for sure.

I was considering the Serrazimes product for two reasons:

1. It's not derived from that bacteria. It's derived from

Asperigillus strains of fungi, which some posts have mentioned may

also create issues, but my understanding is those are pretty commonly

used strains.

2. If indeed its proteolytic activity is similar to serrapeptidate, I

was thinking of possibly combining the Serrazimes product with a

broad-based enzyme product, e.g.:

and using them together as a proxy for Virastop.

Virastop seems to work well for many people on this list and others

(especially when combined with OLE and yeast mgt), but it is pretty

expensive at ~$35 for 120 capsules. Especially for adults, who might

need 5-10, or more, capsules per day (per the Enzymestuff info), that

could get pretty expensive if the anti-viral treatment were required

for more than a few months.

I realize that combining the products would in no way replicate

Virastop, but I'm wondering if such an approach might get a good

portion of the benefit, when combined with OLE and yeast mgt.

Appreciate any/all feedback on the thoughts above. Thanks very much.
