Guest guest
Mark, I am writing as moderator at the moment, because sometimes it is necessary. This list tries to stay as unmoderated as possible allowing the widest range of topic and posting freedom while at the same time staying focused (very tricky at times as you can probably guess). However, one of the big features here is that people are on equal footing and treated respectfully - those feeling they are somehow superior in education, experience, or otherwise are asked to please check their egos at the door, and you may pick them up on your way out (if they must be retrieved at all). The tone of your last post to Anita sounded very belittling and is totally inappropriate. Critical thinking and questioning is encouraged here. The focus here is working toward getting information as correct or accurate as possible; and helping each person find solutions for THEIR particular situation. If you disagree with the information shared, please post respectfully on the information - not attacking the person questioning or sharing. Anyone can be right or wrong about something, or have partial information. And everyone has something to contribute. You can post your reasons for disagreeing, why you think otherwise, post references pro or con, or other information focused on working through the problem. There may not even be one single solution. This format may differ from other lists you have been on, so I am posting this not only for you but for anyone else who is unsure. This group and the format of critical questioning and thinking has brought about significant changes in the biomedical therapy in autism, digestive problems, and related issues over the past years. . - pulling moderator duties because sometimes it is needed
