Guest guest
Hi Sheri, Sorry, I don't have an answer for you as we're new to all this, but instead a question... I'm about to implement the SCD in our family and am curious, are you giving it just to your daughter or does the whole family follow it? What brand of chewable acidophilus are you giving her? I am currently giving Cody the Houston chewable for kids, but it lists maltodextrin, sorbitol, and xylitol as ingredients and I see they are all " illegal " on the SCD diet, so I presume I'll need to discontinue this. Thanks, Bobbie

She is the only one with bad tummy problems. Some recipes I plan to make and just add other illegal things to part for the rest of the family. I have been cooking two diffent dinners at night and hope to get away from it. > What brand of chewable acidophilus are you giving her? Vit's also are illegal. > Thanks, > Bobbie >
Guest guest
SCD lists Splenda as legal, although it's made with chlorine as I understand it, which feeds yeast. But anyway, Kirkman's uses sucralose in many of their children's products, which is the same thing, you could try there. Guest guest
Thanks Amy, but sucralose is listed on the supplement list as illegal as well. Guest guest
Isn't sucralose the same thing as splenda? When I asked about Splenda, no one there would discuss it with me at all - they just kept replying that it was listed on the list as legal. (I could see that.)
