Charcoal absorbs almost everything. This means that any nutrition

your child is eating by foods or supplements, any medications, etc,

will be absorbed by the charcoal and not the body. So you should not

give it long term. However, if you need to give it for a few days to

help your child with yeast die off toxins, that is okay.

One of the uses of activated charcoal is as a remedy for poisoning--it

absorbs the poison in the stomach before it can be absorbed into the

blood. They just don't want you treating a poisoning victim yourself

without first contacting poison control. Sensible advice.

This is the single best thing for my son. We have actually been using

it long term away from other meds/supps. His doctor is ok with it.

It should, usually soaks up whatever you take it with.
