Guest guest Posted January 1, 2006 Report Share Posted January 1, 2006 Thanks. I agree...I've heard that conflict in dosing probiotics with the yeast killers/antibiotics too over the years. Lots of opinions. In addition, I also read that with antibiotics, you could start taking the probioticss near the end of the antibiotic dosing. It could be dependent on the type of probiotic too. Some may be hearty enough while others are not. For us, I give probiotics all the time, even with antibiotics, just to maximize the probability that if anything is growing back, the probiotics will be one of the first guys on the scene. I don't give the probiotics and the anti-whatever at the exact same time, but I do give them apart in the same day. . > I had heard from my DAN doc AND I read online a couple places (like the places that sell the probiotics) NOT to take probiotics while you take things like nystatin and difulcan, etc. > > The email message here said you CAN.
