Oh definately give probiotics with antibiotics, this can help prevent diarrhea,

I have always heard that, and again, read that one some of the probiotic

manufacture websites.

But when it comes to the anti-fungals/yeasts... that is when I have heard NOT

to give at thesame time, that its a total waste.

Thanks. I agree...I've heard that conflict in dosing probiotics with

the yeast killers/antibiotics too over the years. Lots of opinions.

In addition, I also read that with antibiotics, you could start

taking the probioticss near the end of the antibiotic dosing.

It could be dependent on the type of probiotic too. Some may be

hearty enough while others are not.

For us, I give probiotics all the time, even with antibiotics, just

to maximize the probability that if anything is growing back, the

probiotics will be one of the first guys on the scene. I don't give

the probiotics and the anti-whatever at the exact same time, but I do

give them apart in the same day.

Hi,

A question about probiotics...I saw a flyer for Dr. probiotics,

so we bought a six mo supply (this was before I heard of this list). It is

called " Probiotic Advantage " and contains no sugar, salt, yeast, wheat, gluten,

corn, dairy products, arti coloring, arti flavoring or preservatives. It is a

tiny white beadlet that is coated so the acid in the stomach doesn't destroy it

before it can get to work. Has anyone heard of this product? Looking for a

probiotic suggestion to buy when this runs out!
