What do you think folks is ParaGone going to kill his yeast? I'ts my goal to start tackling the yeast over the hols.

>>>Depends what is actually in the product - seems like a common name. Kirkman Yeast aid has been recommneded to a lot lately, we don;t need that now but that might be wroth trying.

What I liked about the Paragone descriptions I came up with was the inclusion of stuff for parasites - I really think you need to do long term treatments to deal with those critters 92-3 months min)

Killing the yeast is only one problem, if you are too good at that the bacteria goes wild so an all rounder product is ideal if yur kid can handle the ingrediants.

Jo's son does well on Yeast Aid and he has been very sensitive in the past

Hi Steph

We've got an ongoing issue with yeast here, and has put us on to oreganol which is 7 drops of OoO per gel capsule with each meal, i.e. 2 or 3 x daily. It is a fantastic product and we give the probiotics away from it each morning and evening. Probiotics alone would never ever deal with our yeast here.

HTH,

Hi Jane,

Well first if i WAS YOU i WOULD CHECK THE URINARY Ph. Whoops my sisters computer goes as mad as mine... I bought good ph sticks from www.phion.com in the USA just cos I couldnt find as good/cheap here, correct me someone. They were around $15 and came in just a few days.

If the PH is high eg 8-9 you probably are producing Ammonia, kids only need around 0.4 oz of preotein per day per lb of body weight so for thats around 2-3 oz and we have way more that.

You could do Yasko genetics to get some more info on CBS genes which are mostly injvolved or just go ahead and reduce protein anayway (hrad to do if you are SCD which I think you are.... )

Does he pee a lot? this was the main reason we did the low oxalate diet and then looked at the Yasko stuff in the first place. Thie is better for us now but not sorted completely. Not a lotta help I am still sich a newbie at yasko stuff shouldnt really be advising anyone actually but heh when has that ever stopped me...

Hi Caroline,

OLE addressed viruses [and bacteria] for my kids. And viral " die off "

tends to increase yeast. So OLE actually caused yeast for us, because

it was addressing viruses. It worked very well on the viruses tho.
