Guest guest
I went to a gastroenterologist today. He asked me if I had unexplained weight loss or was vomitting all the time or always had diarreha. I said no weight loss sometimes vomitting and sometimes diarreha but no vomitting recently and he said there was nothing wrong. I tried to explain everything how I thought it could be h. pylori and candida and about everything we discuss here on this board but he just went back to if there's no vomitting and diarreah then there's no problem. There is a problem. For me it is a chronic problem that I've had for 8 years. I finally decided to swallow my pride and seek medical help and was told there's nothing wrong. I told him everything, that I get drowsy after almost every meal I've vomitted up some capsule looking things and he looked at the chart and noticed I was on anti depressants. Yes if you battle a debilitating chronic illness for 8 years that destroys your work and social life then yes you too will be depressed. He then asked who my psych doctor was and if I'd been diagnosed as being bipolar. Are you kidding me? Do all gastroenterologists not know about this condition we're facing?
